Roughly 13 miles, plenty of elevation gain, all the hurt.

Disclaimer: People in past years have been hospitalized and almost died trying this. The desert does not care about how much water you drink or how many miles you put in as preparation, it will kill you. This run is not for everyone. If you’re thinking, “gee that might be a bit much for me.” you are probably right. Don’t try and pump yourself up and give yourself confidence. Train for the following year.
